Digging For Our Families - Short Documentary 22'

is a short documentary on the work of a young group of Turkish-Cypriot and Greek-Cypriot scientists trying to help their country reconcile. The group is searching, exhuming and returning back to their families the remains of the 2.002 people that went missing during the Cyprus Conflict between the 1950s and 1970s.

Despite the tensions between Turkey, Greece, and Cyprus, in the Eastern Mediterranean escalating in 2020, the scientists are hoping that their smooth cooperation proves that the island can be reunified.
